About Natalie Strieter, LCPC

Natalie began her career working with children and adolescents, ages 3-17 years old, in a psychiatric hospitalization setting. In this setting, she worked with clients who were experiencing mental health crises, often assisting to support symptoms of depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harming urges, aggression, and homicidal ideations. Natalie learned to use an empathetic and person centered approach to help guide her clients during these challenges, assisting them through discovery of their strengths and coping skills.

Natalie learned that children and adolescents strive for support and collaboration from family, group interactions, and strength based approaches. Natalie provides a gentle, and solution focused approach to assist her clients in growing and developing into the best version of themselves.

Natalie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She earned her Bachelor of Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and her Masters in Human Developmental Counseling from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Natalie has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief & loss, family conflict, and behavioral issues.
