Children (7+) | Adolescents | Teens | Young Adults
I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to navigate life's challenges and build the skills needed to thrive. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and young adults as they develop greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
My professional experience has largely centered around supporting individuals and families during times of crisis. While pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I worked in a Behavioral Health Urgent Care setting where I provided crisis intervention, safety planning, coping skill development, resource coordination, and follow-up support for adolescents and families experiencing significant challenges. These experiences strengthened my ability to remain calm, compassionate, and supportive during difficult situations.
Prior to my work in crisis services, I provided case management services to at-risk adults in the community and worked as a Psychiatric Technician in an inpatient behavioral health setting. These experiences have helped shape my understanding of the unique needs individuals and families face across different stages of life and levels of care.
I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I recognize that every person and family is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet each client's individual needs and goals.

My work is grounded in a strengths-based and client-centered approach. I incorporate evidence-based interventions and creative therapeutic techniques to help clients engage in the counseling process in ways that feel meaningful and effective for them.
Therapeutic approaches I may incorporate include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skill Building
Play-Based Therapy
Art-Based Interventions
Sand Tray Therapy
Bibliotherapy
I believe collaboration with parents and caregivers can be an important part of the therapeutic process. Parent involvement is individualized based on the client's age, needs, treatment goals, and comfort level. I work closely with families when appropriate while also creating a space where clients can feel safe, supported, and respected.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy crafting and creative projects. I am passionate about helping individuals build practical coping skills and navigate difficult situations with confidence. I also have a strong interest in continuing my professional development and hope to pursue certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in the future.
